A small lighthouse on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, near the marina for private yachts. Particularly unremarkable, only 12 meters high, made of white stone. From the same stone to the lighthouse from the island a path-bridge is laid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Alternative zum St. Markusturm. Der Blick auf Venedig von oben ist sehr schön. Mit dem Fahrstuhl ist der Aufstieg keine Herausforderung. Der Preis mit 6€ ist angemessen, lediglich die Tatsache, dass man nur Bar bezahlen kann ist unter Umständen schwierig. Für einen touristischen Anlaufpunkt ist das schwach.
Very nice alternative to the St. Markus Tower. The view of Venice from above is very nice. The ascent is not a challenge with the elevator. The price of 6 € is reasonable, only the fact that you can only pay in cash can be difficult. This is weak for a tourist port of call.
