★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place that you must visit during your stay in Venice. I enjoyed the collection greatly. The museum is not very big but the exhibits are spectacular and include artists such as Picasso, Pollock, Kandinsky, Brincusi to name a few. It is a hall of fame of Modernist Art. Don't forget to visit Peggy Guggenheim's memorial. You'll find a little surprise near the headstone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've really enoyed. There is a beautiful garden with sculptures where you can take a rest and find magnificent peace. The exhibition "Surrealism and Magic", wich has been opened a day before, was extra bonus for us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The collection is amazing, but there is nothing left of Peggy's decorum. Everything is sanitized and white.
The temporary exhibition about migrating object is a complete failure. Instead of removing the colonial past, it only opposes the artwork to masterpieces by Picasso or Ernst. How can you compete?? It just showcase how white men art is superior. Shameful.

Limited people is allowed so you can enjoy the artwork
There is also a nice cafe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best museums I've been to, and abstract/modern art isn't even my favorite style...although Peggy's collection has me re-thinking this statement. I loved how personal the experience felt, walking through Peggy Guggenheim's home. Her tombstone is in the beautiful courtyard garden, but the woman's presence is everywhere. In addition to the vibrant collection of art work, the building itself is stunning...only rivaled by the canal views from the terrace! I highly recommend a visit if you're in Venice ~

In all the years of being in Venice we decided to take our daughter as she fell in ove with art..you can listen to the free stories of the artists and Peggy. We'll worth taking time to go here the view are spectacular
