Magistrale il recupero della Visitazione Robbiana, ke finalmente è tornata a casa dopo la trasferta negli Usa. Visita gratuita e da nn perdere. Vi è esposto lo stupendo gruppo scultoreo della Visitazione realizzato da Della Robbia. Bellissimo gruppo esposto magnificamente! Peccato che dopo le vacanze il gruppo ritornerà alla sua solita sede e la chiesa verrà chiusa per continuare i restauri. Chi può ne approfitti ora. It is a wedding favor. Rimasta chiusa fino a poco tempo fa, dopo il restauro è adesso visitabile: un tripudio di affreschi che coprono interamente le pareti e la cupola. Merita assolutamente di essere visitata, soprattutto ora che ospita in esposizione la Visitazione di Luca della Robbia, gruppo scultoreo in ceramica bianca invetriata, rientrata dagli Stati Uniti dove è stata esposta dopo il sapiente restauro che le restituito lo splendore originario! An authentic jewel! Closed until recently, after the restoration it can now be visited: a riot of frescoes that completely cover the walls and the dome. It absolutely deserves to be visited, especially now that it houses the Visitation by Luca della Robbia, a glazed white ceramic sculptural group, returned from the United States where it was exhibited after the skilful restoration that restored its original splendor!

A	Alessandro Gelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una bellissima chiesa, purtroppo non sempre visitabile, sono rimasto sorpreso dalla bellezza degli affreschi, svolti da Raffaello Ulivi nel 1400, poi da Vincenzo del Moro nel1750. Ci sono sempre passato davanti, ma essendo quasi sempre chiusa, non avevo mai avuto modo di visitarla, merita assolutamente. Soprannominata la Cappella Sistina. A beautiful church, unfortunately not always open to visitors, I was surprised by the beauty of the frescoes, carried out by Raffaello Ulivi in 1400, then by Vincenzo del Moro in 1750. I have always passed in front of it, but being almost always closed, I had never had the opportunity to visit it, it is absolutely worth it. Nicknamed the Sistine Chapel.

The photographic exhibition of the silver altar of san jacopo is well received in this splendid little-known church in Pistoia. I highly recommend visiting it.

Le origini risalgono al 1379,sede dei sacerdoti dello Spirito Santo. La chiesa,è buia perché doveva servire ad espiare tutti i peccati. Gioiello barocco molto semplice . Gli affreschi del 1400 sono di Ulivi mentre nel 1750 di del Moro . All'interno una copia dell'altare argenteo,meraviglioso! È stata una visita emozionante, è da vedere! I visited this church last Sunday, thanks to the extraordinary openings of the FAI. It is in the center of Pistoia. The origins date back to 1379, seat of the priests of the Holy Spirit. The church is dark because it was meant to atone for all sins. Very simple baroque jewel. The frescoes of 1400 are by Ulivi while in 1750 by del Moro. Inside a copy of the silver altar, wonderful! It was an exciting visit, it is a must see!

Al momento della nostra visita sono solo intuibili gli affreschi in quanto nascosti da una serie di pannelli fotografici di grande interesse riguardanti il reliquiario e altare d'argento adi San Giacomo, custodito nel tesoro della Cattedrale. Interesting recently restored church, first downgraded to deposit of furnishings (benches, etc.) pertaining to the cathedral. At the time of our visit the frescoes are only intuitive as they are hidden by a series of photographic panels of great interest regarding the reliquary and silver altar to San Giacomo, kept in the treasury of the Cathedral.
