Acquistato nel 1620 da Fabbroni il cui stemma campeggia sulla facciata,viene inseguito notevolmente ampliato accorpando varie antiche case confinanti. Nel 1861 il palazzo e acquistato dall'amministrazione comunale. destinato nel corso degli anni ad usi in congrui fu variamente ristrutturato e trasformato nella distribuzione interna degli spazi. Sede prima della della sottoprefettura e del Dal 1928 al 45 della federazione del partito fascista viene poi usato come scuola media statale. Il lungo restauro concluso nel 1990 ha liberato la struttura architettonica dalle modifiche otto- novecentesche e non alterano le linee originali riportando così alla luce elementi preesistenti delle case Torri trecentesche visibili nel salone del primo piano. Bella mostra, e con supporto di due ragazze di un istituto scolastico ed un professore che ci hanno accompagnato nella visita.
