โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful spot to visit, however it is kinda hard reaching it if you don't have any hiking experience. Bring water and good walking shoes!

โ โ โ โ โ This is a treasure that I had the pleasure to discover. The journey there, through the vegetation and steep path, was a true adventure. The walk it is not super long but quite interesting in its way, which suddenly brings you to this ancient pyramid used as an altar in the old Etruscan times. A must visit if in Bomarzo.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a fun hike, parking is by the main road(water tower) or you can be brave and drive down the jagged road (I did in a mini) the trail is marked with red and orange paint.

โ โ โ โ โ It is a fantastic trail in the nature to find Etruscan ruins in a fantastic landscape. You must be fit and well equipped to deal with some of the trailers you have to follow to get to the ruins. Nature is fantastic and the ruins are very interesting. You may feel you are in a magic place or you are in a tomb raider film

โ โ โ โ โ Definitely worth the hike! Follow the red spray paint on trees and rocks to find the Etruscan pyramid. We got turned around a bit but were able to see beautiful panoramic views of the valley. Definitely wear shoes with plenty of traction because the hike can be steep and slippery at times.

โ โ โ โ โ Itโs a beautiful spot, full of mystery. Quite hard to find (Apple maps for example show pyramid completely wrong -few kilometers far from the correct spot - we found it using application for hikers - Komoot). If you go from up (Via Cupa), itโs not far. You have to find a way that goes down from the clifs (around a grave of a dog). The only thing that was really sad for us was that people normally go up on the pyramid (also not knowing anything about the structure they climb). Itโs a cultural heritage, ancient (probably older than roman sightseings), well preserved and people should observe it from OUT, not climbing it and very usually even eating their lunch on the top. Please, donโt do it.
