Enoteca with selection of the highest level wines to be tasted by exciting the senses; give good friends by making a good impression; or to take home to keep them in your personal reserve ... but sad and distracted staff, often you are not even considered, sin.

All'ingresso della Villa Paolotti, appena passata l'arcata d'ingresso, si entra a destra per l'Enoteca. All'ingresso Brigitta e Massimo ci danno il benvenuto e ci introducono alle varietà dei vini, delle cantine e ai vitigni che caratterizzano la zona di Gattinara e del Nord Piemonte. La struttura è comunale e non commerciale e l'enoteca pratica prezzi competitivi: lo scopo è quello di promuovere i prodotti vinicoli della zona più che vendere semplicemente vini per fini commerciali. Massimo ci chiarisce le differenze tra le cantine, per caratteristiche di morbidezza, per i vini barricati, o di maggior sincerità, per i vini che invece non hanno avuto un invecchiamento in barriques. Ci spiega del vino Gattinara e delle sue coniugazioni, con vitigno Nebbiolo al 100%, o con una piccola aggiunta di 1 o 2 vitigni locali per donare caratteristiche di colore o gusto leggermente diversi. Al tavolo di degustazione abbiamo poi gustato diversi vini, 3 euro per calice; il modo migliore per scegliere quale vino comprare. Consigliata! The structure is municipal and non-commercial and the wine shop practices competitive prices: the aim is to promote the wine products of the area more than simply selling wines for commercial purposes. Massimo clarifies the differences between the cellars, for characteristics of softness, for the barricaded wines, or of greater sincerity, for the wines that instead have not had an aging in barriques. He explains about the Gattinara wine and its conjugations, with 100% Nebbiolo grape, or with a small addition of 1 or 2 local vines to give slightly different color or taste characteristics. At the tasting table we then enjoyed several wines, 3 euros per glass; the best way to choose which wine to buy. Recommended!

Cortese e discreto il personale, ma è necessaria una migliore preparazione sui vini in vendita. Positivo che anche i nomi più blasonati siano tornati all'enoteca regionale anche se è una scelta di comodo dovuta al difficile periodo: dov'erano finiti gli stessi produttori quando per loro le cose andavano bene? Le enoteche regionali sono degli strumenti di diffusione di cultura e non solo aziende! Good choice of local wines even if availability is not always constant. The staff are courteous and discreet, but better preparation is needed on the wines on sale. Positive that even the most famous names have returned to the regional wine shop even if it is a convenient choice due to the difficult period: where were the producers themselves when things were going well for them? Regional wine shops are tools for disseminating culture and not just companies!

Mi ci sono fermato e ho comprato del buon vino rosso locale. Personale gentile. Non ho apprezzato il pagamento delle scatole per conservare le bottiglie di vino. Very nice wine shop located in the Municipality of Gattinara. Found for pure randomness during a trip to Biella. I stopped there and bought some good local red wine. Kind staff. I did not like paying for boxes to store wine bottles.

Posta sulla strada principale, poco fuori dal centro e in un contesto ristrutturato molto bello, la cantina ospita i vini locali (Gattinara, Fara, Boca, Nebbiolo, ecc ecc) e anche bottiglie delle zone attigue, tra le quali Langhe e Roero. Buona selezione, prezzi nella media, personale impegnato a servire i clienti. Una buona soluzione se non si ha tutta la giornata per visitare le cantine delle zona. They didn’t even had a nice or adapt packaging, he had to use the used package of other brands for the bottles we bought. For a the amount that we spent for the wines, we expected a lot more!
