They are traces of men at least 4000 years ago. It seems to be a sacred place and there is a beautiful energy. For people attentive to these things is worth a visit.

Road junction for the civilizations of Salento. Present buildings of the man of the Bronze Age. Also present all around the beds and ravines where people or animals rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' un 'monumento' storico in mezzo ad un campo di ulivi, facilmente individuabile dalla strada Melendugno - Calimera. (Ingresso dalla strada del depuratore) Il Dolmen è ben riconoscibile (contrariamente al dolmen Gurgulante che sembra più un ammasso di pietre!) ritengo sia uno dei manufatti edilizi più antichi di Melendugno. Assolutamente da vedere!!
It is a historical 'monument' in the middle of a field of olive trees, easily identifiable from the Melendugno - Calimera road. (Entrance from the purifier road) The Dolmen is well recognizable (unlike the dolmen Gurgulante which looks more like a pile of stones!) I think it is one of the oldest building structures in Melendugno. A must see !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einen Dolmen entdeckt beim Parkplatz und einige Grundmauern. Da könnte mehr daraus gemacht werden. Die Zufahrt wächst zu aber das ist keine Besonderheit in Süditalien
Discovered a dolmen at the parking lot and some foundation walls. More could be made of it. The driveway is growing but that is not unusual in southern Italy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your usual dolmen, only smaller, lost in what seems to be a sea of olive trees. Last leg of the street is very narrow, the car barely fits.
