Extremely expensive place. I had nothing to choose for main course. They had only waited dishes. We had dessert and wine and we paid 79 euro. Taxa Coperto was 10 euro per person, with I think is a thief. There was no info about this tax.

I was scheduled to join Da Giacomo for NYE dinner 2021. To do this they asked for a deposit which I gladly sent over. The problem was that they ended up having to close the restaurant due to covid and I have been now fighting with them to return my deposit for two+ months. They have consistently lied to me over and over again about returning it. Avoid this restaurant at all cost, especially if you have to send a deposit in advance.

One of top 5 restaurants in Milano (fish and sea food) with delicious and fresh food, superb interior and nice service.

I highly recommend Da Giacomo if you can manage to get a table. One of the oldest in the city and one of the best. I suggest the tagliolino pasta with white truffle, it's to die for. Seafood and fish is a must, you'll be happy to have chosen this institution.

Fantastic place. Fresh food, amazingly prepared. Great variety of wines. Dessert trolley absolutely wonderful. Always going back whenever passing through the city: consistency over time is what we like best about Da Giacomo.

Everyone raves about this place, but I must say I found the food underwhelming. What you’re really paying for is the impeccable service and upscale ambience. I had high hopes for the red prawn tartare with mandarin sorbet, but the sorbet was too sweet and overpowered the delicate flavor of the raw shellfish (already naturally sweet). The linguine with lobster, while fresh, was also a bit monotonous. Not all was lost, however! My server recommended a Piedmontese chardonnay that tasted like a Meursault — the real discovery of the evening for me.

It was a shame that lobster dishes were not ordered. But the other menus that were replaced were delicious. The staff were very professional and I was very satisfied with the contents.
