★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had two wonderful dinners at Da Alighiero where Sylvia and Gianni create a great dinning experience. The Italians do it right with smaller portions so you can have two or three courses and not feel stuffed. The green pasta with ricotta and sauteed spinach was amazing. Followed by a small Filet Mignon cooked with olive oil which was out of this world!

- definitely one of the best lunches I've ever had in Italy (among others I enjoyed a superb dish with 3 of their signature pastas). To top it off the staff (owners?) was also super kind and I genuinely felt they went out of their way to make our short visit unforgettable!
I hope to come back...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriends and their daughters and 1 were so blessed to spend a morning with Silvia, who showed us and taught us how to make beautiful authentic Italian dishes that we could make at home. She was fun, gracious and very generous. We then sat down for lunch with our husbands and kids and all got to enjoy the fabulous meal we all made. It was one of my top three meals on my long holiday in Italy. So I highly recommend Silvia for a cooking class or eating at her restaurant. Do not miss this unique and traditional experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved everything about my experience at Da Alighiero while staying at the Tuscan villa airbnb nearby. The server was an older, warm and friendly woman, and she indulged me with my beginner Italian skills to order in Italian. She could speak English of course, so when I didn’t know a word, she still understood me.
We ordered several dishes and shared them amongst us five and they accommodated our request to do so.
The highlight of the meal for me was the panna cotta with homemade rose jelly ?. It was the best dessert I had in all of Italy!
