★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I rented an apartment in the walled town of Anghiari, Italy.
Our flight was diverted so we did not arrive until 11:30pm.
The caretaker recommended we go to Bar Pizzeria Baldoccio for a very late night dinner.
It was 11:45pm when we arrived - they close at 12:00
The chairs were already upside down on the tables and the floor had been washed in preparation for closing.
Notwithstanding, we were welcomed with open arms, ordered wine and wonderful Italian this crust pizza.
We stopped in three other times, and each time we were welcomed as if family.
Great food, decent inexpensive wine, great atmosphere - both inside and outside seating available.

The waiter was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long until our food was served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been coming here for years and it is consistently excellent. The pizza is approved by my Roman father who is a very hard man to please! The pizza menu is extensive, and there is also a selection of pasta and salads so everyone is satisfied. Gluten free is also available. The deserts are also delicious. All this in a stunning location, with owners and staff who are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet.
