A friend recommended this place as the best ice cream in Italy. Well, it could be. I only had 3 flavors, but I'm glad I made a stop there. The young lady inside also being very friendly. 5star gelato for sure.

Spoiler: this cannot be less than 5 stars ?! When in Bologna it’s hard ranking gelaterie, hardly you’re going to bump into one with fake, artificially flavoured and coloured gelato, that’s as harsh as competition gets here. So one ends up ranking but the creativity shown in devising new flavours and how those are composed into new yummy offerings to customers. My favorite by Cremeria Cavour is now the double granita with one gelato flavour and whipped cream (frames in the pic). It’s the ultimate summer sin in Bologna, unrivalled to date by other gelaterie I’ve explored, also great value for money coming straight into your hands for only 4€. Enjoy it ? *Update* Cremeria Cavour also offers an option which is the utmost culinary sin: brioche with gelato and/or whipped cream ?. Could I not try it? So here we go, check the latest pic added, it’s world beating. Just make sure your jaws can handle it ?.

In the month I was traveling in Italy, we had gelato almost every day in a different place. This was by far my favorite. So incredibly creamy! Loved the 50 Special- tastes like tiramisu.

Amazing flavors. We had the pine nut and buffalo milk and then went back for the peach. Gorgeous texture and the cakes and cannoli looked great as well. It’s just across from the lovely park, so don’t trust the pin in the map.

Some of the best gelato I’ve had for sure. I highly recommend the pistachio cream and pine nut flavor! The Cavour favor is also quite good. 10/10 would come again!

The icecream and granita were both good! The waiting time in line was a bit long because the staff were really slow, and the prices with respect to the portion size are a bit high compared to other shops.

This ice cream shop deserves the 5-star! The ice cream is very good and fresh and there are different types to choose from. I tried the Pistachio one and it was good. though, if you don't like to wait in long queues, I would recommend to come early.

amazing gelato & very friendly staff! there are so many flavours to choose from, the choices are super interesting! we got the Tortino brenso (chocolate cake, really good) & cassata siciliana (ricotta with candied lemon) and crema binca di bufala & amarenata (candied amarena cherries)!
