L’affresco preso in esame è sito presso il Convento dei Carmelitani Scalzi sito in Parma via Verdi 3. Appartenente alla confraternita dei Carmelitani Scalzi è di grande pregio e di enorme importanza Storica Artistica Culturale.
Esso raffigura una delle più importanti iconografie della religione cristiana.” La madonna allattante”. L’affresco ha subito la tecnica dello “strappo” nel XVIII secolo, come specificato con data apposta in alto a destra dell’opera. Nell'impianto è stata raffigurata l’immagine della Vergine Maria che allatta il Bambino Gesù. Il Bambino Gesù è rappresentato con la mano sinistra sul seno della Vergine Maria e con la mano destra un cardellino, simbolo della passione . Il Bambino Gesù viene raffigurato con la veste da filosofo, come nelle iconografie risalenti al XIII ed al XV Secolo.

The fresco examined is located at the Convent of the Discalced Carmelites in Parma site via Verdi 3. Pertaining to the brotherhood of the Discalced Carmelites it is of great value and of great importance Historical Cultural Art.
It depicts one of the most important iconographies of the Christian religion. "The breastfeeding lady". The fresco underwent the technique of "tearing" in the eighteenth century, as specified with the date affixed to the top right of the work. In the plant was a depiction of the Virgin Mary nursing the infant Jesus. The Child Jesus is represented with the left hand on the Virgin Mary, and with his right hand a goldfinch, symbol of passion. The Infant Jesus is depicted as a philosopher, as in iconography dating back to the 13th and 15th centuries.
