★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meriterebbe il massimo se non fosse per le ,purtroppo,carenze organizzative,manca una guida professionale,al solito la Calabria avrebbe molto da offrire, ma non riesce a fare quel salto di qualità che meriterebbe.
Amministrazioni più competenti ed attente,più cura,anche nei dettagli,organizzazione,meno pressappochismo.
Da queste parti ,fatto uno,sembra che sia stato fatto dieci.

Invece il tutto rimane fermo,anzi nel tempo peggiora.
Io sono calabrese.nato a Soriano.
Ne sono orgoglioso, ma onesto.
Un vero peccato.
It deserves the best if it were not for the, unfortunately, organizational shortcomings, it lacks a professional guide, as usual Calabria would have a lot to offer, but it fails to make that qualitative leap it deserves.
More competent and attentive administrations, more care, even in the details, organization, less carelessness.
Around here, having done one, ten seems to have been done.

Instead, everything remains still, indeed it gets worse over time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo ricco di storia e di arte. Ho visitato questo convento ancor prima di conoscerne la storia, che mi è stata spiegata da un entusiasta abitante di Soriano. E' stata una visita interessante che ha arricchito la mia conoscenza ma soprattutto la mia vista, data la tanta bellezza.
Place full of history and art. I visited this convent even before knowing its history, which was explained to me by an enthusiastic inhabitant of Soriano. It was an interesting visit that enriched my knowledge but above all my sight, given the great beauty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il voto pessimo che ho dato non è per il luogo (molto bello e suggestivo), ma per la PESSIMA organizzazione di questo sito.
Lo abbiamo trovato CHIUSO nonostante il cartello dicesse chiaramente che era aperto in quell'orario! Abbiamo chiesto al frate che si trovava nella Chiesa annessa e diceva di non sapere nulla. Dopo aver aspettato circa mezz'ora, è arrivato un signore: gli abbiamo spiegato la situazione e ci ha gentilmente aperto. Il posto meritava l'attesa, ma l'organizzazione resta pessima.
The bad vote I gave is not for the place (very beautiful and suggestive), but for the BAD organization of this site.
We found it CLOSED despite the sign clearly saying it was open at that time! We asked the friar who was in the annexed church and said he knew nothing. After waiting about half an hour, a gentleman arrived: we explained the situation to him and he kindly opened it. The place deserved the wait, but the organization remains bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soriano è un bel paesino noto per i tipici dolciumi calabresi detti "Mostaccioli"...il grande monastero, dedicato a San Domenico, si può visitare (previa prenotazione) e, al suo interno, si trova un museo/ gipsoteca ovvero una collezione di modelli e calchi in gesso di sculture o di elementi architettonici. Nella piazza antistante l'entrata del monastero c'è un'importante Biblioteca dove sono ben conservati importanti ed antichi documenti/libri/cartografie relativamente la Regione Calabria...ma non solo!
Da Soriano e Sorianello si arriva a Serra San Bruno...ottimo come tour turistico.?
Soriano is a beautiful village known for the typical Calabrian sweets called "Mostaccioli" ... the great monastery, dedicated to San Domenico, can be visited (by reservation) and, inside, there is a museum / gipsoteca or a collection of models and plaster casts of sculptures or architectural elements. In the square in front of the entrance to the monastery there is an important library where important and ancient documents / books / maps relating to the Calabria Region are well preserved ... but not only!
From Soriano and Sorianello you get to Serra San Bruno ... excellent as a tourist tour
