Beautiful valley. I recommend it especially in summer. The structures are much simpler than the perfect ones in South Tyrol

From a winter skiing point of view, the area does not deserve more than three stars: I have been visiting it since the 90s and has not invested as much as it should have in winter tourism; he simply raised prices systematically every year without providing anything new; ditto for accommodations

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' una zona fantastica e molto più vicina della altre.. si può arrivare a sciare ad alleghe senza metterci 2.30 ore. C'è un campeggio che è davanti alle piste da sci e col noleggio scarponi. Unico neo è che se uno non scia c'è poco. In estate invece su possono fare immense passeggiate sopratutto sul monte pelmo dove si possono vedere le orme dei dinosauri... che però non è nell'ultimo tratto una passeggiata per bambini... nella baita prima della partenza si mangia benissimo soprattutto i funghi e ce anche il museo di mesner che ha un visione eccezionale su tutta la vallata del Cadore.
It is a fantastic area and much closer than the others .. you can get to skiing in Alleghe without taking 2.30 hours. There is a campsite which is in front of the ski slopes and with ski boot hire. The only drawback is that if one does not ski there is little. In summer, on the other hand, they can take immense walks, especially on Mount Pelmo where you can see the footsteps of the dinosaurs ... which, however, is not a walk for children in the last stretch ... in the hut before departure you eat very well especially the mushrooms and there is also the mesner museum which has an exceptional view over the whole Cadore valley.
