I visited Sant'Elpidio a Mare for the Città Medioevo 2019 event. A nice event that has nothing to envy of the Gaite of Bevagna. TO BE SEEN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupendo borgo medioevale, il comune organizza vari concerti di famosi artisti, complimenti al sindaco da San Marino, unica pecca troppe auto che girano x il centro.
Superb medieval village, the municipality organizes various concerts by famous artists, congratulations to the mayor from San Marino, the only flaw is too many cars that run around the center.

Tuttavia dò solo 3 stelle poiché non è concepibile che un comune tanto bello non venga opportunamente valorizzato. Mi spiego meglio. Io, come altri turisti, approfittando di un pomeriggio nuvoloso di agosto, abbiamo deciso di visitare questo centro. Siamo tuttavia rimasti amareggiati dal fatto che tutto era chiuso al pubblico ad eccezione della Collegiata (e anche questa era talmente buia da non vedere dettagliatamente le opere esposte).
Seen from the outside, the building is sober and elegant.
However, I only give 3 stars because it is not conceivable that such a beautiful municipality is not properly valued. I'll explain. I, like other tourists, taking advantage of a cloudy August afternoon, decided to visit this center. However, we were saddened by the fact that everything was closed to the public with the exception of the Collegiate Church (and this too was so dark that we did not see the works on display in detail).
