Il mare ha i frangiflutti, molto tranquilla e con molti spazi in cui ritrovarsi anche per i bambini. I have been coming to this location for almost three years now for holidays. I've always found it a great town. The sea has breakwaters, very quiet and with many spaces in which to meet even for children.

I was in the municipality of Porto San Giorgio to request the intervention for a tree that needed maintenance .. apart from the kindness just entered but the availability in receiving me and above all for being quick thanks to the technical office and to those who took care of it. pruning !! ???

Il comune di Porto San Giorgio ha un centro storico veramente interessante, di recente costruzione ma con uno stile medioevale (credo intorno anno 1800). Il piccolo centro ha una passeggiata che arriva alla stazione molto carina. Il lungo mare è arioso e percorribile. Peccato per la cura del paese stesso perché potrebbe essere veramente una chicca ma sporcizia, erbacce e non curanza delle aree verdi pubbliche rende il paese triste e con senso di abbandono. Idem il lungo mare che presenta enormi potenzialità ma in stato di abbandono visibile da anni. Sicuramente con un bel cambiamento di mentalità e con semplicemente attenzione al proprio territorio, Porto San Giorgio potrebbe diventare veramente una splendida città. Visited on April 6, 2022 for the RinascITALIA tour that wants to make the beauties of our Italy visible through a free project to stimulate beauty. The town of Porto San Giorgio has a really interesting historic center, recently built but with a medieval style (I think around the year 1800). The small center has a very nice walk to the station. The promenade is airy and passable. Too bad for the care of the country itself because it could be really a gem but dirt, weeds and carelessness of public green areas makes the country sad and with a sense of abandonment. The same goes for the promenade which has enormous potential but has been in a state of abandonment that has been visible for years. Surely with a nice change of mentality and simply with attention to its own territory, Porto San Giorgio could truly become a splendid city.
