★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jolie petite commune de Toscane où l'on a été chaleureusement accueillis par les habitants. Toutes les commodités y sont présentes. Elle est de plus idéalement placée pour les lieux plus "touristiques" de Toscane et est beaucoup plus paisible.
Pretty little town in Tuscany where we were warmly welcomed by the locals. All the amenities are there. It is also ideally placed for the more "tourist" places of Tuscany and is much more peaceful.

Le sue vicende affondano nella storia romana, nel corso dei secoli ha avuto momenti di prosperità, soprattutto quando aveva una miniera di rame, chiusa nel 1907, e successivamente una di salgemma. Attualmente tale attività è ricordata in un museo. Merita di essere visitato il centro storico, con edifici religiosi e civili caratteristici.
A very characteristic village with a wide suggestive panorama. Its events sink into Roman history, over the centuries it has had moments of prosperity, especially when it had a copper mine, closed in 1907, and subsequently a rock salt mine. Currently this activity is remembered in a museum. The historic center deserves to be visited, with its characteristic religious and civil buildings.

Optimal, wenn es Touristen anlocken soll?
Nice little place. We actually wanted to go to the Minery Museum. However, they are closed from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Ideal if it is supposed to attract tourists?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villaggio arroccato su uno sperone di roccia con case in pietra e stradine acciottolate. La grande Torre Belforti domina la vallata. Il palazzo pretorio, ora centro di documentazione era chiuso così come le miniere di rame. Affascinante ambiente tipico toscano.
Village perched on a rock spur with stone houses and narrow cobbled streets. The great Belforti Tower dominates the valley. The praetorian palace, now a documentation center, was closed as well as the copper mines. Charming typical Tuscan environment.
