Invece, la singola stella è rivolta alla gestione dei mezzi pubblici del tutto assenti: per raggiungere la Rocca Maggiore ho dovuto prendere un taxi. Inesistente l'informazioni della Pro Loco di Assisi perché chiusa di domenica, quando c'è il maggior numero di turisti. VERAMENTE PECCATO, LA CITTÀ DI ASSISI NON MERITA TALE GESTIONE!!! Sin!!! The city with its history and its monuments deserves the five stars. Instead, the single star is aimed at the management of completely absent public transport: to reach the Rocca Maggiore I had to take a taxi. The information of the Pro Loco of Assisi does not exist because it is closed on Sunday, when there is the greatest number of tourists. REALLY SIN, THE CITY OF ASSISI DOES NOT DESERVE THIS MANAGEMENT !!!

L unico parcheggio comunale x parcheggiare il camper, grande e quasi vuoto, non ci hanno fatto entrare xchè max 5 camper (????). Ed era pure a pagamento. Povero San Francesco che umiliazione x la sua città arrogante It is a city that does not want campers. E	El Cosme on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pessima esperienza con l'Ufficio Anagrafe di Assisi, totalmente irreperibili al telefono per giorni ci siamo recati di persona e con sorpresa non troviamo alcuna coda da smaltire. Spieghiamo che a causa di un imprevisto dobbiamo prendere un volo per tornare a casa nel nostro comune di residenza e che per questo dobbiamo fare urgentemente la carta di identità di nostro figlio neonato (avevamo già preavvisato il nostro Comune che, ricevendo una semplice pec dal Comune di Assisi, avrebbe velocemente invitato il nulla osta per procedere). Risultato: all'Anagrafe di Assisi ci fanno il terzo grado sostenendo infine che non possono emettere il documento e ben felici quando decidiamo di rivolgerci altrove. Complimenti davvero per la pochissima competenza e disponibilità, specie per chi come noi si trovava in difficoltà lontano da casa. Per la cronaca, ci siamo rivolti ad un altro Comune che in qualche giorno e senza alcuna difficoltà ci ha prodotto il documento richiesto. Congratulations indeed for the very little competence and availability, especially for those like us who were in difficulty away from home. For the record, we turned to another municipality that in a few days and without any difficulty produced the requested document.
v	vincenzo re on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La città è stupenda, oltre ad essere un luogo di preghiera , è una splendida città medievale, molto curata e pulita. Ho un unica puntualizzazione da fare : le auto nel centro storico, nella Assisi alta tanto per intenderci dovrebbero essere vietate, c'è più traffico e smog che in una città metropolitana, ciò non ti permette di camminare tranquillo, pare di essere in autostrada, questa è una grossa pecca e un disagio per i turisti. Da rivedere le entrate nel centro storico ai soli residenti. Vedere foto...... The city is beautiful, as well as being a place of prayer, it is a splendid medieval city, very well kept and clean. I have a single clarification to make: cars in the historic center, in the high Assisi so to speak should be prohibited, there is more traffic and smog than in a metropolitan city, this does not allow you to walk quietly, it seems to be on the highway, this is a big flaw and an inconvenience for tourists. A forma rettangolare si affacciano su di essa numerosi monumenti storici. Ad iniziare dal palazzo del Capitano del Popolo quindi del Podestà. A destra si innalza la torre del Popolo del XIII secolo che è a base quadrata e sulla sommità vi è la Campana delle Laudi con l'incisione del Cantico delle creature. Ancora a destra c'è il tempio di Minerva con sei colonne scanalate a capitelli Corinzi ora sede della chiesa di Santa Maria sopra Minerva. Dirimpetto c'è il palazzo Dei Priori dove in esso ha sede attualmente la pinacoteca Comunale. La Fontana è stata posta nel 1762 ed è all'estremità superiore della piazza. Opposite is the Palazzo Dei Priori where the Municipal art gallery is currently located. The fountain was placed in 1762 and is at the upper end of the square.

È uno dei borghi più belli e ben tenuto dell'Umbria c'è tanto da vedere che una giornata non basta infatti proseguendo per via San Francesco si raggiunge la piazza del comune, il tempio della Minerva, chiesa Nuova, la basilica di Santa Chiara, la cattedrale di San Rufino, la rocca Maggiore e poi subito fuori la mura c'è San Damiano e infine in macchina circa 4km sul Monte Subasio si arriva all' Eremo delle carceri e il bosco di San Francesco. It is one of the most beautiful and well-kept towns in Umbria, there is so much to see that a day in fact is not enough, continuing along via San Francesco you reach the town square, the temple of Minerva, New Church, the Basilica of Santa Chiara, the cathedral of San Rufino, the Rocca Maggiore and then immediately outside the walls there is San Damiano and finally by car about 4km on Mount Subasio you arrive at the Hermitage of the prisons and the forest of San Francesco.
