★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personale gentilissimo, museo curato e rispettoso delle opere di enorme valore, non solo quadri o stampe, ma anche architettura ed arredi di vita vera ( la cucina e favolosa ). Siamo entrati con il cagnolino senza problemi, il biglietto è gratuito. Insomma un bel pomeriggio di cultura e storia Triestina.
 Very kind staff, well-kept museum and respectful of works of enormous value, not only paintings or prints, but also architecture and furnishings of real life (the kitchen is fabulous). We entered with the dog without problems, the ticket is free. In short, a nice afternoon of Triestine culture and history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent presentation of artwork in a historic building. Combine with a visit to Revoltella gallery few hundred meters away. Watch for opening times and guidance times as currently it is not possible to visit Museo Sartorio on your own. A guide will take you around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and interesting museum: you can go around the XIX century Villa of Sartorio merchants family. Apart from the well preserved villa itself, there are a room with Tiepolo's sketches and another one with remarkable XIV and XV century painting from former venetian territories of Istria and Dalmatia .
Very kind staff.
Worth a visits if you have kids too, to engage them in discussions of old time lifestyle in the big kitchen or at the desk with inkwell and sealing wax;-)
