Citypass Venezia Unica (Tourist Information)

Horrible Service. The lady working there flat out told us that an issue with Venezia unica is not her problem and she refused to help us in any way.

Two ladies who obviously hate their life are sitting at the desk. Any questions asked comes back with two word answers or just a point of a finger. 3 euros for a city map required.

If you want some information don't go there. You don't even fell welcome in the city... The only objective is to sell and not to inform. Look on the web you will find more info.

Not helpful at all - I felt like she was annoyed by someone actually entering with questions. No reason to have a tourist information if your not in to actually helping.

We found it un-crowded (in the middle of the day), and found the staff extremely helpful, in contrast to the other reviews we read prior to going. They were able to recommend the right group tickets, as well as help answer a number of other questions we had.

This place deserves one star due to its disgusting customer service. I have to say, first of all, that I've worked in three different tourist information center in my country, so I know a bit how does this job work. In this office we were received by a girl who looked like an internship worker and the official worker who was tutorizing her. We only wanted info about sightseeing and public transport and they told us that they couldn't give us that information because all that we needed was in their guide-book. In fact, they tried to sold us that guide-book no matter what. So next question was about public toilletes and the answer again was that they couldn't tell us where they are because "there are too many". In the end they seemed like angry with us because we didn't want to buy neither the guide-book nor a map. That's why we went out the office very dissapointed.

In planning a 5 week trip to Europe for our 15th Anniversary we made about 3 dozen reservations and ticket purchases online from Milan to Sicily and in between along with various other countries everyone was very helpful everywhere else.Venezia Unica Tourist City Pass Company is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE WORST when it comes to customer service (or lack of)!!! These people ignore your emails, hang up the phone, and quite frankly are rude and lie about everything "IF" you ever get a response from them. BUYER BEWARE!!! True, I admit that I made a mistake when I downloaded their APP and entered the tickets ($186 for 2) just to have them ready for our visit to Venice in May 2019. There is NO WARNING that once you activate the tickets it initiates you first day of use. All it said when buying the tickets on their inefficient website is "Tickets are valid for TWO YEARS". If you are do choose to buy from Venezia Unica Tourist City Pass DO NOT ACTIVATE THEM as I mistakenly did. You will then be ON YOUR OWN because these people are useless when it comes to customer service!!! We ran up over 30 dollars in long distance calls just to finally be told that "This happens all the time". All you can do is fill out a report and HOPEFULLY someone will get back to you. After a total of 63 emails (SIXTY THREE), I was told that it was my fault and that all I can do is bring it with me to Venice in May and take it to the office. I am assuming that my purchase will be ancient history by then!! Goodbye $186 + $30 in calls + many hours of emails and my time. MY RECOMMENDATION... STAY AWAY!! Buy your tickets for any attractions in Venice from the individual sites. More time consuming up front but at least you won't get ripped off and deserted like we did!

For up to date information you are better off looking at each museum, palace or church that you are interested in visiting. Oh and they sell you a map.
