★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il 26 ottobre 1997, giorno della memoria liturgica del beato Bonaventura, il cardinale Roger Etchegaray, Presidente Pontificio Consiglio Giustizia e Pace, benedice la prima pietra, alla presenza dell’arcivescovo Appignanesi, del Ministro provinciale padre Francesco Nolè e di numerosa folla. Nella parte alta del rione, in via Stigliani, nello spazio di due anni e, su progetto dell’architetto padre Costantino Ruggieri dei frati minori, sorgono la chiesa, gli spazi per le opere parrocchiali e il complesso conventuale. Il 18 giugno 2000 il vescovo Appignanesi, alla presenza del Ministro generale dell’Ordine dei frati conventuali, padre Agostino Gardin, e di una folta rappresentanza di frati con il provinciale padre Francesco Nolè, di parroci della città, di autorità e fedeli, consacra la nuova chiesa, arricchita di luminose vetrate istoriate, opera dello stesso architetto progettista.
On October 26, 1997, the day of the liturgical remembrance of Blessed Bonaventure, Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, blessed the foundation stone in the presence of Archbishop Appignanesi, the provincial Minister Father Francesco Nolè and a large crowd. In the upper part of the district, in via Stigliani, in the space of two years and, on a project by the architect Father Costantino Ruggieri of the Friars Minor, there is the church, the spaces for parish works and the convent complex. On 18 June 2000, Bishop Appignanesi, in the presence of the Minister General of the Order of Conventual Friars, Father Agostino Gardin, and a large representation of friars with the provincial Father Francesco Nolè, parish priests of the city, authorities and faithful, consecrates the new church, enriched with bright stained glass windows, by the same architect.
