As a Dane you should look here. Here in the courtyard you can look up to the tower that inspired the architect to create the Frelsers Church's winding tower at Christianshavn.

Open only on Sunday between 9 and 12 am. Interesting architecture by Borromini. The church is physical part of the university.

Built under the patronage of Pope Urbano VIII (Barberini) this fantasy baroque creation, completed in 1660 by Borromini, is famous for the spiral on top but the architect redesigned the courtyard too.

Perhaps the most exquisite of Borromini's churches- open only on Sunday mornings so plan accordingly, you do not want to miss this remarkable Baroque gem.

One of the beautiful courtyards in Rome, not far from the one designed by Bramante , this one is baroque and bigger, more impressive . You can climb up to the first floor. The Spiral tower is seen even from far away and very inspiring. Entry is from the main street.
