★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best gelato in Rome. They have a good number of flavors, however not too many. You can have a taste, which is nice and servers are always friendly. The most delicious flavor for me is pistachio, however it is hard to decide. Chocolate is amazing. Hazelnut is great too, however a bit too sweet for me (very subjective).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best gelato I’ve had in Rome. (Actually it’s the best anywhere. Better than the places in Venice, Firenze, and even the good gelato places in London.) I used to live in Rome and I now vacation here regularly. You name a gelato place in the area of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, and Trevi fountain and I’ve tried their gelato. Yes there are 3 locations but it’s all made on site, I’ve even met Gunther! Every flavor I’ve had is better than any of the others with the same flavor. It’s exceptional gelato. I really like the Chocolato Extra Fondente but all the chocolates are good so pick your favorite type. Even the agave chocolate it really good. And yes, most of the Italians I know (one of whom turned me onto it when it was Punto Gelato) agree it’s the best in Rome. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s Italian Gelato. (Hey Gunther, I think you should have stuck with the name Punto Gelato.) There is also a location by Ponte Sisto. A great place at sunset for Gelato. Enjoy! (Whipped cream on top is free too - if you like that.)
