★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalla piazzetta antistante vista meravigliosa. È un piacere fermarsi qui per godersi il relax e la luce di questo magnifico posto. Sono venuto qua spesso ma non sono mai riuscito a vedere la chiesa internamente.
 From the square in front of wonderful view. It is a pleasure to stop here to enjoy the relaxation and the light of this magnificent place. I came here often but I could never see the church internally.

Delightful little church above Bonassola, on the path to Montaretto. A Ferragosto unmissable evening with banquets of vegetable pies, fried and local wine, all watching the shooting stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Giorgio, già parrocchiale delle frazioni Costella, San Giorgio e Serra, secondo le fonti storiche, fu edificata nella seconda metà del secolo XVI, mentre la torre campanaria fu realizzata tra il 1673 ed il 1676. L'edificio, che, in questi ultimi anni, è stato oggetto di una serie di restauri, sia all'interno, sia all'esterno, risulta essere interessante, soprattutto a motivo delle opere d'arte che contiene. Di pregio anche l'antico organo a canne, recentemente ripristinato: si tratta di manifattura settecentesca di scuola ligure.
According to historical sources, the church of San Giorgio, formerly the parish of the hamlets Costella, San Giorgio and Serra, was built in the second half of the 16th century, while the bell tower was built between 1673 and 1676. The building, which, in recent years, it has been the subject of a series of restorations, both inside and outside, and is interesting, above all because of the works of art it contains. The ancient pipe organ, recently restored, is also valuable: it is an eighteenth-century manufacture of the Ligurian school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rapida, anche se ripida, camminata per arrivare in cima alla. Colli a da dove svetta questa chiesetta dedicata a S Giorgio. Peccato sia quasi sempre chiusa, se si escludono alcuni concerti di musica classica e, forse, la celebrazione della memoria del santo a cui è dedicata. Bel panorama su Bonassola.
Quick, if steep, walk to get to the top of the. Hills from where this small church dedicated to St. George stands out. Too bad it is almost always closed, except for some classical music concerts and, perhaps, the celebration of the memory of the saint to whom it is dedicated. Nice view of Bonassola.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Chiesa di San Giorgio ist eine kleine Kirche mit einer sehr schönen Fassade. Direkt vor der Kirche hat man einen wunderbaren Blick über die ganze Bucht von Bonassola.
An der Kirche geht ein Wanderweg entlang, von dem aus man sowohl in die Hügel oder auch an der Küste entlang wandern kann.
Leider war die Kirche an mehreren Tagen verschlossen, sodass wir sie nicht besichtigen konnten.
The Chiesa di San Giorgio is a small church with a very beautiful facade. Directly in front of the church you have a wonderful view over the whole bay of Bonassola.
There is a hiking trail by the church, from which you can hike into the hills or along the coast.
Unfortunately, the church was closed for several days so that we could not visit it.
