the effort to reach the top is canceled out by the wonderful view over the Gulf of Levanto and Bonassola. On clear days - like yesterday - you get to see the Apuan peaks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle, mittelschwere Wanderung. Trittsicherheit erforderlich. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten auf den Gipfel zu gelangen. Man wird mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aufstieg von Scernio steil und anstrengend, aber nirgends ausgesetzt oder gefährlich. Abstieg besser nach Norden und dann über die MTB Route zu den Steinbrüchen. Teilweise etwas kratziges Unterholz. Schönes Panorama, Tiefblick nach Levanto. Es ist weiter, als es von unten ausschaut, daher noch vor Sonnenaufgang losgehen (Weg ab Levanto nicht zu verfehlen, in Scernio etwas Aufmerksamkeit wegen der Abzweigung- kurzer Zwischenabstieg).
Ascent from Scernio steep and strenuous, but nowhere exposed or dangerous. Better descent to the north and then via the MTB route to the quarries. Partially a bit scratchy undergrowth. Beautiful panorama, deep view to Levanto. It's further than it looks from the bottom, so start before sunrise (you can't miss the path from Levanto, be careful in Scernio because of the fork - short descent in between).
