Non è certo il monumento più importante della zona, ma un punto di riferimento importante.
Between the quarry streets and the rock settlement, this rather shabby little church would need to be cleaned up.
It is certainly not the most important monument in the area, but an important point of reference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo oratorio campestre in semplice stile romanico risale probabilmente al 1200. Nei secoli successivi è stato rimaneggiato mantenendo però un suo particolare fascino legato anche alla collocazione lontana dall'abitato di Sorano e vicina ad uno degli ingressi della Via Cava etrusca che da questa chiesa prende il nome.
All'interno conserva un dipinto della fine del '600 che raffigura la Madonna con il Bambino.
Trovata comunque chiusa.
This oratory in simple Romanesque style probably dates back to 1200. In the following centuries it was remodeled but maintaining its particular charm also linked to the location far from the town of Sorano and close to one of the entrances of the Etruscan Via Cava that from this church takes first name.
Inside, there is a painting from the late 1600s depicting the Madonna with the Child.
Found, however, closed.
