Matteo è ubicata nella contrada Pian Cardillo, ai limiti del territorio comunale, a ridosso del vicino comune di Pignola. E' ospitata in una struttura prefabbricata in metallo che si presenta esternamente con una facciata semplice e lineare. Al suo interno l'aula liturgica è a pianta rettangolare e sul presbiterio, leggermente rialzato rispetto al piano di calpestio, e` collocata la mensa d'altare con il tabernacolo a ridosso della parete di fondo e due dipinti ai lati. Esternamente sul lato est trova collocazione un piccolo campanile con struttura in legno e una croce nella parte superiore. Il piazzale antistante la chiesa, recintato e pavimentato con battuto di cemento, è immediatamente a ridosso della SS. 92 che conduce alla vicina località di Rifreddo. Matteo is located in the Pian Cardillo district, on the edge of the municipal area, close to the nearby town of Pignola. It is housed in a prefabricated metal structure that presents itself externally with a simple and linear facade. Inside, the liturgical hall has a rectangular plan and on the presbytery, slightly raised above the floor, there is the altar table with the tabernacle close to the back wall and two paintings on the sides. Externally on the east side there is a small bell tower with a wooden structure and a cross at the top. The square in front of the church, fenced and paved with concrete, is immediately behind the SS. 92 which leads to the nearby town of Rifreddo.
