★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A partire dal 1766 la precedente Chiesa di Santa Maria dell'Assunta fu completamente riedificata e intitolata ai Santi Pietro e Paolo.
Nella prima metà del Novecento la Chiesa fu ampliata e decorata internamente, mentre il campanile fu ricostruito in forme neobarocche, in accordo con l’elaborata facciata progettata dall’ingegner Gallo.
All’interno si conserva l’altare maggiore in marmo policromo e la statua lignea della Vergine del Rosario dello scultore Carlo Giuseppe Plura, entrambi settecenteschi.
La Chiesa non è in genere visitabile.
Starting from 1766 the previous Church of Santa Maria dell'Assunta was completely rebuilt and dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul.
In the first half of the twentieth century the church was enlarged and decorated internally, while the bell tower was rebuilt in neo-baroque style, in accordance with the elaborate facade designed by engineer Gallo.
Inside there is the main altar in polychrome marble and the wooden statue of the Virgin of the Rosary by the sculptor Carlo Giuseppe Plura, both from the 18th century.
The Church is not generally open to visitors.
