★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L’antica pieve dei Santi Pietro e Paolo (attestata sin dal 1105) mostra al suo interno interessanti testimonianze di affreschi dei primi decenni del Trecento, opera di artisti senesi ancora legati alla lezione di Duccio. A sinistra si osserva una Natività i cui caratteri stilistici mostrano evidenti legami con la tradizione duccesca e contemporaneamente un’attenzione alle figurazioni di Ambrogio Lorenzetti.
The ancient parish church of Saints Peter and Paul (attested since 1105) shows interesting traces of frescoes from the first decades of the fourteenth century, the work of Sienese artists still tied to Duccio's lesson. On the left we see a Nativity whose stylistic features show clear links with the Ducces tradition and at the same time an attention to the figurations of Ambrogio Lorenzetti.
