★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa di campagna con un bellissimo quadro del xvi secolo. Parrocchiadedicata a San Fabiano Pontefice e Martire. E' antica e più volte fu restaurata a fondo. E' citata sia nelle Rationes Decimarum del 1290-92, sia nella visita apostolica del 1574 e nelle successive visite pastorali. Fu sempre Rettorale e, parlando della pieve di Ginestreto, se ne fa sempre memoria. Nel 1500, vicino a questa chiesa, furono scoperte molte ossa umane di rilevante misura; si pensò appartenessero a guerrieri ultramontani, che con molte incursioni infestarono le nostre terre. La chiesa parrocchiale, negli anni 2000-2001, è stata ristrutturata ed allargata, perché potesse accogliere la popolazione locale, aumentata in maniera consistente
Beautiful country church with a beautiful picture of the 16th century. Parish Church dedicated to San Fabiano Pontiff and Martyr. It is ancient and several times it was thoroughly restored. It is mentioned both in the Rationes Decimarum of 1290-92, and in the apostolic visit of 1574 and subsequent pastoral visits. He was always a Rector and, speaking of the parish of Ginestreto, he always remembers it. In 1500, close to this church, many important human bones were discovered; it was thought they belonged to ultramontane warriors, who infested our lands with many raids. The parish church, in the years 2000-2001, has been restructured and enlarged, so that it could accommodate the local population, substantially increased
