The church, with an eclectic style, was rebuilt in the second half of the nineteenth century under the guidance of the architect Pietro Carrera, although in reality the first works had never been completed. The poet Guido Gozzano was baptized here. During the Second World War it was bombed. In 1974 the altar was added to the Madonna delle Spine. The building, located inside an iron gate after a small garden with oriental features, is divided into three naves; tall and small diameter columns separate the central nave from the smaller ones: in them you can admire frescoes, bas-reliefs, statues and altars. The ceiling is green in color.
