Agostino con la disponibilità del terreno circostante per l’edificazione del convento. Venne trasformata integralmente nel sec. Xviii. La chiesa è formata da un’unica navata, alle cui pareti sono stati addossati quattro altari ornati di stucchi e di bassorilievi. Come nelle altre chiese, anche in questa la facciata è situata sul lato lungo. Essa è di notevole effetto scenografico, suddivisa da una trabeazione con cornice aggettante al cui centro si apre una nicchia dove è stata collocata la statua del Santo. Una bellissima scalinata adornata da fiori, che finisce alla porta d'ingresso della chiesta, sovrastata da una scultura di Sant'Agostino. Viewed from the outside only. L	Luigi Gravina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo aver camminato lungo lo splendido corso del borgo, vivo con la vita e la cura dei suoi abitanti che lo arricchiscono di quotidianità, ci si trova in presenza di una alta ed ampia esterna scalinata che porta all'ingresso della chiesa. Pur se dall'esterno la chiesa si presenta maestosa, lo stato dei luoghi non le rende il dovuto merito. In due visite, a distanza di un anno, la chiesa è stata trovata sempre chiusa e non visitabile.
