★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful two churches next to each other, near piazza de poplo one of the famous tourist attraction of rome after vatican city and Colosseum. Very nice and spacious place to visit and relax. Highly crowded on weekends and you can see some street talents of rome doing different activities playing music, dancers etc. Good conectivity via bus and metro. Good fountains are also there. Overall a good place to visit , relax and take photos. Chillax.BEWARE OF PICK POCKETERS ROME IS FULL OF THIEVES, TAKE CARE OF YOUR WALLET SPECIALLY MEN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are two churches at Piazza del Popolo, just next to Via del Corso. One is Santa Maria dei Miracoli, we entered and it is typical baroque church. The second one was closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twin Churches - both are amazingly beautiful for a mass while visiting Rome. Or for a wedding ceremony. Next to piazza popolo and lots of great restaurants. Recommend the visit to take in the beautiful scenic views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this church during our tour of the catacombs. This was an amazing out of the way church. Most people don't even realize that it's even there. It has a lot of history. It was a home at one time and the man of the house kept hearing running water and they started digging down and eventually (Long after the family was gone, because it took a lot of years. Roman's don't tear down places, they build on top of them) they found a running spring 4 stories under the house. This is another place that needs to be seen if you are ever in Rome

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pope Alexander VII (Chigi) in 1662 ordered a pair of churches to be erected to complete the place to the view of anyone entering through Porta del Popolo. Our Lady of Miracles was completed in 1678 by Carlo Fontana.
The icon is a copy, while the original is since 1590 in the nearby San Giacomo in Augusta.
