★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendida. C'è ben poco da aggiungere ad un edificio così ricco di storia e di bellezza. Il marmo rosso locale è il vero protagonista: scolpito in puttini, capitelli, colonne e archi, impreziosisce la chiesa dandole un senso di maestosità. L'edificio, pur avendo subito alcuni interventi di adattamento nel corso del secondo dopoguerra, conserva l'impianto originario e vi è un'assoluta uniformità tra l'antico e il nuovo.
Di particolare pregio artistico, l'organo settecentesco, in posizione absidale, e l'altare maggiore, oltre alla terza cappella a sinistra, che custodisce due statue antiche in pietra dei santi patroni, Marco e Nicola, e delle formelle in bassorilievo che raffigurano i dodici apostoli e il Cristo.
Da un punto di vista cultuale, sono qui custodite le statue processionali dei santi Marco e Nicola e della Madonna Immacolata.
Beautiful. There is little to add to a building so rich in history and beauty. The local red marble is the real protagonist: carved in puttini, capitals, columns and arches, it embellishes the church giving it a sense of majesty. The building, despite having undergone some adaptation interventions during the Second World War, retains the original layout and there is an absolute uniformity between the old and the new.
Of particular artistic value, the eighteenth-century organ, in the apse position, and the high altar, in addition to the third chapel on the left, which houses two ancient stone statues of the patron saints, Marco and Nicola, and the bas-relief panels depicting the twelve apostles and the Christ.
From a religious point of view, the processional statues of Saints Mark and Nicholas and of the Immaculate Virgin are kept here.
