★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto interessante il Complesso Monumentale di San Francesco, la cui fondazione risale al secolo XIII e viene attribuita da sicura tradizione allo stesso San Francesco che, pellegrino ad Amalfi sulla tomba dell'Apostolo Andrea, fondò prima in questa città un convento (oggi hotel Luna) e poi quello in Ravello.
Il Convento era In origine in stile gotico, poi in epoca barocca è stato rimaneggiato rimanendo avvolto da solare luminosità e tacita francescana armonia.
The Monumental Complex of San Francesco is very interesting, the foundation of which dates back to the 13th century and is attributed by sure tradition to San Francesco himself who, as a pilgrim to Amalfi on the tomb of the Apostle Andrew, first founded a convent in this city (today the Luna hotel). and then the one in Ravello.
The Convent was originally in the Gothic style, then in the Baroque period it was remodeled remaining enveloped by solar brightness and tacit Franciscan harmony.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This church isn’t so ornate or beautiful like other church’s in the area. However it is special for a completely different reason. It’s quiet, secluded, and most of all it is perfect for singing. The acoustics in this church are just beautiful. Truly a peaceful place to be and great spot to just take a moment after galavanting the Amalfi Coast. Worth the visit if your into churches but definitely if you’re into singing it is a must.
