★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa parrocchiale di Laveno dalla seconda metà del Seicento, in sostituzione dell'antica sorta almeno dal Mille lontano dall'abitato e presso il cimitero (santa Maria in ca' deserta). All'interno si conservano opere di Mario Aubel (attorno al 1911),pittore di origine triestina destinato a lasciare una profonda traccia nella vita culturale della comunità lavenese.
Parish Church of Laveno from the second half of the seventeenth century, replacing the ancient sort at least from the year one thousand away from the town and near the cemetery (Santa Maria in ca 'deserta). Inside there are works by Mario Aubel (around 1911), a painter of Triestine origin destined to leave a profound trace in the cultural life of the Lavenese community.

The tower of the church of Saints Filippo and Giacomo, by its height, dominates the town of Laveno and the shore of Lake Maggiore. During the sunset, or at night, when the moon is full, the tower seems projected on the stars that cross the sky.
