★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La graziosa chiesa di Santa Maria Elisabetta si trova nell'omonimo piazzale. Conserva opere del 1600. La parrocchia è guidata da don Paolo Ferrazzo. A pochi passi si trova l'imponente tempio votivo Santa Maria Immacolata o della Pace (rettoriale). Lo scorso anno è stato restituito alla cittadinanza e all'Italia. Il Tempio Votivo infatti è un sacrario militare. In esso si trovano le spoglie di migliaia di italiani che durante i due conflitti mondiali hanno dato la loro vita. I lavori di restauro - spesa totale 2 milioni - sono proseguiti per 3 anni.
The pretty church of Santa Maria Elisabetta is located in the square of the same name. It preserves works from the 1600s. The parish is led by Don Paolo Ferrazzo. A few steps away is the imposing votive temple of Santa Maria Immacolata or della Pace (rectorial). Last year it was returned to citizenship and to Italy. The Votive Temple is in fact a military shrine. It contains the remains of thousands of Italians who gave their lives during the two world wars. The restoration work - total cost 2 million - continued for 3 years.

Uno degli altari laterali ospita una magnifica icona cretese della Madonna con il Bambino ed una scultura lignea del XV secolo.

Simple seventeenth century single-nave church with bell-shaped facade and triangular tympanum.
One of the side altars houses a magnificent Cretan icon of the Madonna and Child and a wooden sculpture from the 15th century.
