Ogni volta che sono in zona passo a visitarla e ne rimango sempre affascinato The church is a jewel in the medieval Tiburtino quarter. M	Marco Salvalaggio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'origine della chiesa è fatta risalire adirittura al V secolo anche se la costruzione oggi visibile risale probabilmente al XII secolo ed è il risultato di una ristrutturazione del XVII secolo quando delle tre navate originali ne fu conservata solo una per fare spazio alla viabilità della zona. Purtroppo non è rimasto molto degli arredi originali e l'interno risulta un po' spoglio. Fa eccezione il bellissimo affresco nell'abside con tutta probabilità Duecentesco. Da visitare sicuramente, munitevi di un euro spiccio perché le luci si accendono con un temporizzatore posto a destra dell'entrata e senza non si vede nulla. The origin of the church dates back to the fifth century even if the construction visible today probably dates back to the twelfth century and is the result of a renovation of the seventeenth century when only three of the original naves were preserved to make room for the roads in the area . Unfortunately there is not much of the original furnishings left and the interior is a bit bare. The beautiful fresco in the apse is probably the exception of the thirteenth century. To visit for sure, bring a quick euro because the lights come on with a timer located to the right of the entrance and without seeing anything.

Cecchini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siccome è ai margini del centro storico, in una via dove si passa solo per andare al santuario di Ercole vincitore, è poco frequentata ma rappresenta un gioiello di epoca medievale che, seppure rimaneggiato, conserva una abside splendidamente affrescata con colori nitidi che si vedono benissimo anche senza l'illuminazione artificiale (spendetelo un euro per azionare le luci entrando a destra, se non volete lamentarvi). L'apparato interno suggerisce che sia luogo scelto per matrimoni. Bellissimo il campanile, modesta la facciata, c'è anche una cripta non visitabile. Guardate le foto e i video che ho postato e le altre recensioni su Tivoli e su Roma e le sue meraviglie che ho fatto e se sono stato utile cliccate su utile. When you are in Tivoli come and see this magnificent work.
d	dave ball on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful 11 century church with Romanesque architecture and a byzantine fresco. It is a nice quiet walk away from the hustle and bustle of Villa d'Este. Well worth your time if you want a peaceful stroll.
