L'originaria chiesa del Carmine fu realizzata nel 1666 ed ampliata nel 1856 dai fedeli, a poca distanza dall'attuale, nel Rione Concerie.
DescrizioneLa chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine, inuagurata nel 1922, ha un impianto planimetrico a croce latina a navata unica. Si presenta con una facciata delimitata da una coppia di lesene sopra le quali è impostato un frontone su cui poggia un piccolo campanile.

The original church of the Carmine was built in 1666 and enlarged in 1856 by the faithful, not far from the current one, in the Tanneries District.
Description The church of Santa Maria del Carmine, inaugurated in 1922, has a Latin cross plan with a single nave. It has a façade delimited by a pair of pilasters above which a pediment is set on which rests a small bell tower.
