 A really beautiful church. There are chairs and tables next to the altar for those serving mass. I am an altar boy myself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'originaria facciata a capanna è stata rialzata in epoca successiva, come si può notare dal diverso tipo di disposizione dei mattoni. Presenta lungo tutto il perimetro esterno una caratteristica decorazione a dente di sega, tipica dell'architettura romanica. Notevole anche il campanile in muratura.
The original gabled façade was raised at a later date, as can be seen from the different type of brick arrangement. Throughout the outer perimeter it presents a characteristic saw-tooth decoration, typical of Romanesque architecture. The masonry bell tower is also remarkable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa originaria venne costruita fra il X e l'XI Secolo, addirittura prima della vicina abbazia. Fu poi rimaneggiata nei secoli successivi, soprattutto nel corso del Duecento, epoca alla quale risale anche la costruzione del campanile. Se l'interno è stato profondamente mutato dai restauri effettuati nel Novecento, quel che si ammira dalla strada rimane un mirabile esempio di romanico lombardo.
The original church was built between the 10th and 11th centuries, even before the nearby abbey. It was later remodeled in the following centuries, especially during the thirteenth century, a time in which the construction of the bell tower dates back to.
