★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'attuale Chiesa sorge su un'antica Cappella dedicata a San Simeone, già citata in un documento del 1597. Nel 1660 fu ampliata e trasformata in Chiesa dedicata a Sant'Antonio Abate, ma la Chiesa è da tutti conosciuta con il nome di Sant'Antuono per la devozione dei montellesi dovuta a un noto miracolo.
Negli anni '60 fu chiusa al culto e sconsacrata per le condizioni precarie dello stabile e tutti gli oggetti che si potevano prelevare furono trasportati alla Parrocchia di S.Michele Arcangelo e tuttora, molti di essi, sono esposti nelle Chiese di S.Michele e dell'Addolorata. Successivamente il terremoto del 1980 ha procurato altri danni alla Chiesa, rendendola completamente inagibile.
Ed è veramente un peccato vederla così abbandonata e pericolante, perché si intuisce che un tempo doveva essere una gran bella Chiesa.
 The current church stands on an ancient chapel dedicated to San Simeone, already mentioned in a document of 1597. In 1660 it was enlarged and transformed into a church dedicated to Sant'Antonio Abate, but the church is known by all with the name of Sant 'Antuono for the devotion of the people of Montello due to a well-known miracle.
In the 1960s it was closed to worship and deconsecrated due to the precarious conditions of the building and all the objects that could be taken were transported to the Parish of S. Michele Arcangelo and still, many of them, are exhibited in the Churches of S. Michele and 'Sorrowful. Subsequently, the 1980 earthquake caused further damage to the Church, making it completely unusable.
And it is truly a shame to see it so abandoned and unsafe, because one senses that once upon a time it must have been a very beautiful Church.
