A	Andrea Dolcetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non e' dedicata a san salvatore, bensi' al SS. (Santissimo) Salvatore, ossia a nostro Signore. Fronteggia il Castello Monaldeschi, e per non apparirne da meno ha un fronte che sormonta la navata. All'interno, suggestivi dipinti, opere giovanili del Maestro Moscini ed un pregevole fonte battesimale ligneo. It is not dedicated to San Salvatore, but to the SS. (Most Holy) Savior, that is to our Lord. It faces the Monaldeschi Castle, and not to be outdone it has a front that surmounts the nave. Inside, evocative paintings, early works by Maestro Moscini and a valuable wooden baptismal font.

Pesantemente danneggiata nel 1914 da un incendio è stata restaurata per quanto possibile perdendo, comunque, tutto il patrimonio artistico-religioso che si trovava all'interno. Costituisce con la dirimpettaia rocca un'insieme architettonico comunque molto scenografico. Gothic church of the fifteenth century characterized by the beautiful facade bordered on the sides by two powerful square bell towers (the left one never completed). Heavily damaged in 1914 by a fire, it was restored as far as possible, however, losing all the artistic-religious heritage that was inside. Together with the fortress opposite, it constitutes an architectural ensemble that is however very scenographic.
R	Rocco Iacovino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Salvatore è posta fronte alla Rocca Monaldeschi in stile gotico ai lati presenta due torri, l'interno è sempice, soffitto a cassettoni, altare decorato con dipinto sullo sfondo. Nei dintorni bellissima la vista sul panorama circostante ed il lago di Bolsena, anche dalla Rocca si può ammirare la chiesa nella sua totalità. The church of San Salvatore is placed in front of the Rocca Monaldeschi in gothic style on the sides it has two towers, the interior is simple, coffered ceiling, altar decorated with a painting in the background. In the surroundings there is a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and the lake of Bolsena, even from the Rocca you can admire the church in its entirety.

Il suo progetto originario prevedeva che l'edificio sorgesse al posto del castello e che avesse l'aspetto più di una fortezza che di un edificio religioso, dotato com'era di due grosse torri ai lati, ancor oggi visibili. Quasi completamente restaurato a seguito di un incendio avvenuto nel 1914. From the thirteenth century, it is located in the medieval Castello district, with the characteristic domed bell tower covered with majolica and today used during the summer for exhibitions. Its original project called for the building to rise in place of the castle and to look more like a fortress than a religious building, with two large towers on either side, still visible today. Almost completely restored following a fire in 1914.
