★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just wonderful. Right next door to the visitor's center in the castle, I thought this would be over priced and touristy. Nothing of the sort. Maria and Romano love their 'locanda' and it is evident from the minute you sit down under the shady, rattan awning. Proper Italian home cooked food (all herbs plucked from the herb pots outside the kitchen) by beautiful Maria whose heart is in her food. This isn't any ordinary Italian restaurant, it is heaven. I mostly eat vegetarian food and Maria and Romano offer a HUGE variety of deliciousness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been there for happy hour, and I could not make a better choice. A wonderful spritz with the sunset on the lake! Very reccomened, the staff is so nice and kind, and the location is perfect.
