Sempre nel 1800 è stato collocato nella piazzetta antistante un busto in bronzo dedicato al giurista del 14° secolo Paolo di Castro.
The church (of the nineteenth century) does not hold the artistic comparison with the other churches of the historical center but is however used by the community of Grotte for the Sunday Mass of the Vespers.
Also in 1800 a bronze bust dedicated to the 14th-century jurist Paolo di Castro was placed in the small square in front.
