Di sicuro esisteva nel 1276 quando - secondo alcune fonti - era dedicata a santa Maria. La dedicazione a san Rocco sarebbe quindi posteriore. Altre fonti sostengono esattamente il contrario. L'interno - nonostante le ridotte dimensioni - è a tre navate divise da colonne di travertino. Colpisce l'abside in pietra con l'arco trionfale molto ampio decorato da stemmi gentilizi. Some ancient stones inserted in the masonry make it consider the first church of Pitigliano even if it is not sure that this was Saint Rocco the parish already attested in 1061. It certainly existed in 1276 when - according to some sources - it was dedicated to Santa Maria. The dedication to San Rocco would therefore be later. Other sources claim exactly the opposite. The interior - despite its small size - has three naves divided by travertine columns. The stone apse is striking with the very large triumphal arch decorated with noble coats of arms.
