A questo periodo sono datati i dipinti alle pareti e il coro nella zona absidale.
Small and interesting church of Romanesque origins, today it is presented in the late seventeenth century style.
The paintings on the walls and the choir in the apse area are dated to this period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge, come per le altre chiese, nel centro del tessuto urbano della cittadina, che si formò poco per volta attorno alla vasta area fra l'abbazia di San Colombano e la piazza del Duomo: si tratta del borgo medioevale detto "borgo intrinseco", l'odierno centro storico, che conservò l'originale denominazione di "Bobium".
Infatti la facciata si apre accanto a piazza S.Fara dietro il cenobio monastico di San Colombano e vicino al quartiere Castellaro.
It rises, as for the other churches, in the center of the urban fabric of the town, which formed little by little around the vast area between the abbey of San Colombano and the Piazza del Duomo: it is the medieval village called "intrinsic village", today's historic center, which retained the original name of "Bobium".
In fact, the façade opens next to Piazza S.Fara behind the monastic monastery of San Colombano and near the Castellaro district.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita nel duecento, si trovava fino al 1950 all'interno delle mura dell'Abbazia di Bobbio, di fronte all'orto ( l'attuale piazza S.Fara...).
Era gestita dalla confraternita dei "Battuti", dedita alla cura degli infermi.
Attualmente, ha un interno senza pregi particolari e la sua forma è un po' anonima....
Forse l'unica cosa che incuriosisce, è la misteriosa lapide ( detta di "Segnorino") murata sulla facciata di piazza S.Fara, probabilmente di un cavaliere templare.
Built in the thirteenth century, it was located until 1950 within the walls of the Abbey of Bobbio, in front of the garden (the current Piazza S.Fara ...).
It was managed by the brotherhood of the "Battuti", dedicated to the care of the sick.
Currently, it has an interior with no particular merits and its shape is a bit anonymous ....
Perhaps the only thing that intrigues is the mysterious plaque (known as "Segnorino") walled up on the facade of Piazza S.Fara, probably of a Templar knight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è molto antica, risale al 1144 e la storia delle sue origini non è chiarissima. Si trovava nella zona medievale della città, proprio in vicinanza con l'Abbazia di San Colombano da cui è sempre dipesa. Alla fine del XIII secolo risulta affidata ad una confraternita di laici detta dei Battuti (o Disciplinati), che dipendeva sempre dai monaci dell'Ordine di San Colombano, e che si dedicava all'assistenza in particolare degli infermi.
The church is very old, dates back to 1144 and the history of its origins is not very clear. It was located in the medieval area of the city, right next to the Abbey of San Colombano on which it has always depended. At the end of the 13th century it was entrusted to a brotherhood of lay people called dei Battuti (or Disciplinati), which always depended on the monks of the Order of San Colombano, and which dedicated itself to assisting the sick in particular.
