Chiesa ad unica navata, abbisognevole di restauri. Recentemente riscoperto un affresco di Pietro Novelli il Monrealese, ritenuto disperso durante l'evento bellico. Austere and composed facade of this ancient church, first annexed to the monastery of the same name, formerly a Benedictine and then an Olivetan, totally destroyed during the American air raids of 1943. Church with a single nave, in need of restoration. Recently rediscovered a fresco by Pietro Novelli il Monrealese, believed to have been lost during the war.

Come tutti gli edifici di questo tipo presenta una navata unica con cappelle laterali poco profonde ed una balaustra in controfacciata da cui le suore potevano assistere indisturbate alle funzioni. Pesantemente danneggiata dai bombardamenti del 1943, per diversi anni fu chiusa al pubblico ed oggi riapre solo in particolari occasioni. Restaurata grazie a fondi privati conserva le belle linee dell'interno, oggi austero, ma un tempo completamente colorato, come mostrano tracce ben visibili di pigmenti nelle lesene e nelle cappelle. È da poco stato riportato alla luce un pregevolissimo olio su muro di pietro novelli, il trionfo di David, forse parte di un ciclo non più esistente. Attualmente ospita un'installazione di arte contemporanea dedicata a Caravaggio. The church was part of a convent of cloistered nuns that no longer exists. Like all buildings of this type, it has a single nave with shallow side chapels and a balustrade on the counter-façade from which the nuns could attend the functions undisturbed. Heavily damaged by the bombings of 1943, for several years it was closed to the public and today it reopens only on special occasions. Restored thanks to private funds, it preserves the beautiful lines of the interior, today austere, but once completely colored, as clearly visible traces of pigments in the pilasters and chapels show. A very valuable oil on a wall by pietro novelli has recently been unearthed, the triumph of David, perhaps part of a cycle that no longer exists. It currently houses a contemporary art installation dedicated to Caravaggio.
