★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa e il convento di San Francesco da Paola furono edificati nel 1613 per volontà di don Francesco Branciforte e donna Giovanna d'Austria e lo affidarono ai Padri Minimi Paolotti....
Il sisma del 1693 risparmio' la Chiesa ma non il convento del quale rimasero solo i dormitori.
Dopo la soppressione dei beni ecclesiastici i due edifici passarono al Comune di Militello V.C che li cedette ad una Congregazione di carità.
Nel 1911 il convento venne adattato a locale d' isolamento in caso di epidemia di colera.
Negli anni trenta fu trasformato in Ospedale Civile e tutt' oggi ricopre questo ruolo grazie anche ai numerosi ampliamenti, cambiamenti e ammodernamenti che sono stati fatti nel corso degli anni.
 The Church and the convent of San Francesco da Paola were built in 1613 by don Francesco Branciforte and Donna Giovanna of Austria and entrusted it to the Padri Minimi Paolotti.
The earthquake of 1693 saved the Church but not the convent of which only the dormitories remained.
After the suppression of the ecclesiastical assets the two buildings passed to the Municipality of Militello V.C which ceded them to a Congregation of charity.
In 1911 the convent was adapted as a place of isolation in the event of a cholera epidemic.
In the thirties it was transformed into a Civil Hospital and today it holds this role thanks to the numerous extensions, changes and modernizations that have been made over the years.
