★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is right on the river and has limited parking, but just across the nearby Bridge is a paid parking lot where you can park all day for 3 or 4 euro. The water is cold and refreshing. A lot of people come here to swim and sunbathe. Several people also hike the area as well. To be comfortable, you need to bring something to lay/sit on, water shoes for the rocks, towels to dry off, and food/drink. There isn't too much "beach" space, so keep your gear light. There is a beautiful falls area past the jumping cliffs and bicycle parking. When going there, I suggest not to bring little ones under the age of 8 unless they are good swimmers and can climb and walk well in rocky and uneven terrain. There is a point where making it to the falls gets a little treacherous for elderly/very young/pregnant people. You have to balance and climb, and the walk way is narrowed and wet. Worth the views but beware of possible hazard. Also, if you plan to go stay down that way pack light, bring pack packs to carry your belongings, and plan a way to keep your electronics dry.
