★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa, di probabile fondazione medievale, fu ricostruita nel corso del XVI secolo. Le decorazione delle volte, la dotazione pittorica e l’arredo liturgico risalgono al XVII e XVIII secolo. Sul lato esterno della chiesa si trova la cappella della Madonna. Secondo tradizione sostituì un tempietto dedicato a Minerva. La cappella presenta eleganti colonnine rinascimentali ed è chiusa da un’antica cancellata. L’interno è affrescato, mentre l’esterno presenta graffiti con motivi decorativi.
The church, probably of medieval foundation, was rebuilt during the 16th century. The decoration of the vaults, the pictorial equipment and the liturgical furnishings date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. On the outside of the church there is the chapel of the Madonna. According to tradition, it replaced a small temple dedicated to Minerva. The chapel has elegant Renaissance columns and is closed by an ancient gate. The interior is frescoed, while the exterior has graffiti with decorative motifs.
